Heather A Sommer

Going from flawless young skin to enflamed acne as a teen, my confidence plummeted. Once perfect smooth buttery skin to acne. I was mortified to go anywhere without make-up, and nothing seemed to work to clear it up. The Dermatologist would prescribe things but I'd often would leave his office crying. “Wash wish soap and water” he would say “take this once a day”.

This is when my career began! I knew how it felt to want to hide from the world. My insecurity, perfectionism, and childhood traumas were not going to stop me from NOT feeling good enough and my desire to show others that they are good enough in there own skin too.

Being the youngest in my family did not stop my desire to be independent and self-reliant, and being born a Capricorn, some might say I am not afraid of demanding work and climbing to the top of my protentional. Founder of Body Rock Sculpting Med Spa LLC in 2014 and now OHSHI Beauty Medical Skin Care November 2025, is just part of the puzzle to my purpose.
